i get a letter telling me of additional channels now available free of charge. only about 3 or 4 but dish net says there will be more down the line. but, a second dish is needed to be installed along with another multiswitch to link the two dishes together. they offer this free of charge including installation with a one year warrenty. so i call and tell them sure, set it up. the dish net guy tells me that the earliest available appointment is on feb. 3, 2003! however, if they ups me the hardware i will have to pay for the multiswitch, which is about 75 dollars. so if i let them pay an installer, and wait 9 months, it's free. if they send it to me and i install it myself it's 75 bucks. i just laughed and told them to set the appt. between 12 and 6. i wonder if i should put in for a day off from work now, or wait a few months.
