I'm confused, I just got off the phone with a local audio/video guy...

Ok a little background first.
I need a projector, something durable, not too heavy and looks ok in regular lighting or darkness. This will be packed around to meeting across Canada mostly by women so can't be over about 8lbs. I had my heart set on the InFocus LP530 (digital - DLP) but he told me that because its has a 2000 lumin bulb it won't be able to stand up to an all day meeting (8+ hours) without overheating. He was trying to push this Sanyo XU35 on me which is LCD and like 2 lbs more but he says they are more durable and won't overheat... anyone have any suggestions or input?? Is there somewhere that has lots of projector reviews? I cant find one for the XU35 thanks!!
