DVD/SACD preamp

Am ready to move up to multichannel sacd and purchase a Sony TAP9000ES preamp to supplement my old H.T. preamp/processor. Posed this equipment question to the forum 6 months ago, and now having the advantage of being a "late adopter" with regards to the TAP...is there now (or soon to be) a $600 to $700 preamp/processor availble with 6channel volume controlled, analog bypass and decent bass management, along with the usual H.T. goodies, that will take the place of my pre/pro and a TAP9000 and save on some cabling costs. Or am I not late enough.
Now have:
Sony DVPNC650v DVD/SACD changer
Sony TAE1000ESD pre/processor
Aragon & Marantz amps
Theil $ Def.Tech. speakers
