Newbie HK Signature 2.0 owner needs help

Hi. Just received a new Signature 2.0 preamp today. Have not been successful with setup, though. I only get audio through the tuner. At least I know the interconnects between the preamp and the power amp work.
I only have one source, a Sony DVP-NS700P. All the preamp's inputs are assignable. I cannot get any audio out regardless of which digital (coax) input I use, nor with any of the 2 analog inputs that I've tried. I've tried reassigning the inputs several times, and rechecked cabling and connections. I know the cables and source work, because I didn't have a problem with the Marantz SR7200 they were connected to previously.
