Toshiba 42H81 vs. Samsung HCM422W...Recommendation, Please...

Hi:
I am going to buy a 42 in. Widescreen, and I've narrowed it down to the Toshiba 42H81 or the Samsung HCM422W. Both are comparably priced.
Wondering if someone with some experience could offer a recommedation? I will be watching a lot of regular TV so I need a set that will stretch a 4:3 image to 16:9. I understand that the Toshiba will do this with very little distortion. Not sure about the Samsung.
Also, I noticed the the Toshiba has 540p video processing vs. 480p for the Samsung. I'm not really sure what this means or it's significance--maybe someone could comment. I'll list the URL's below for specs, features, etc... If anyone has any experiece with either of these sets and could offer some input, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
