Hi all, thanks for your replies to my question below. I'm getting ready to set up my tube home theater system this weekend using my Dynaco Mk.III tube amps and (for now, until I find a remote controllable unit for the task), an Eico HF-85 preamp.
Where do I get the purest audio signal from my Sony TV? Ideally, I'd like to bypass the Sony's internal amp and speakers altogether.
Should I take the audio signal off the VCR? Please give me a hint. How do I get the best possible SOUND from my TV?
