Suggestions for Upgrade from Denon AVR4800....

Hey All,
I have been pondering upgrading my Denon AVR 4800. ive thought of the Denon AVR 5803, ive thought of the B&K 307, and ive thought of using the 4800 as a Pre/Pro and getting a seperate amp. Do you guys think upgrading to the 5803 or the B&K 307 would be a big enough improvement to justify the $? what seperate amp would you guys recomend? id like to stay under $3000.
