Suggestions for a new sub needed.

Hi all,
This is the first time I venture into the VideoAsylum. I am in the process of moving into a smaller house. I am mainly an audiophile, but do enjoy watching good films on my modest hometheater system. My system is listed in the Inmates Systems section under FrankC. The sub that I currently have is an old Fosgate (2 1/2'Lx 2 1/2'Wx1 1/2' H). Quite a behemeth compare to subs made these days. I do not think it will fit into our new living room which is about 16'W x 30'Lx 8'H, so I would need to start shopping for a new smaller sub (new or used). My budget is $800. It does not have to be active as I have a mono amp that currently powers the Fosgate (Marantz 50). Any suggestion would be appreciated. The sub is only used in the hometheater settinig.
