Do you need the MAGIC splitter for ground loop problems? I bought the regular MAGIC box. It fixed the ground loop problem I was having but also made some cable tv channels (Travel channel) display hash lines. I removed the MAGIC box and grounded my cable line on the outside of the house with my house's electrical ground. Now I got no groundloop and a great picture.
