I've been hearing some new whispers around the campfire, the Sony camp that is, about the much debated, rumoured, waited for replacement for the long running TAE-9000ES pre/pro amp combo, is finally coming before the end of this year. First news was posted on HTF re some hearsay info from Oade Bros, now I'm hearing it from a Sony source, although as usual, unco nfirmed, or if you will as confirmed as it's likely to get.
Anyone heard any news from other sources? The rumour from Oades nentioned the new receivers which have started to arrive. Maybe a new AV pre/power soon?
Will be very interested indeed to hear any other news of this, and also likely pricing.
