DVD video recorders seem to be the future of home video recording. Just seems odd that the big electronic companies like Sony and JVC have not develop a DVD recorder yet. Are they backing away because of the format software confusion (DVD+RW,DVD-RW) or is it that they are going a different direction for recordable media?
