How much LF information is in the surround channels???

65.101.153.80

I'm currently running a passive subwoofer on my surround channels, with my surround processor set to run the surround speakers as "large". I'd like to use this passive subwoofer (M&K Goliath) in my bedroom system where it is more urgently needed, but not at the expense of my main HT.

Would the sound quality of my HT really suffer if I removed this M&K from the system and ran the surround speakers as "small" (80hz filter)?

I'm running some large 15" Tannoy Ardens as mains, a Radian coax as a center, and Klipsch KSF-S5s as surrounds. I use no other subwoofer, so all the front LF info is fed to the mains.

Thanks in advance for your opinions.
