Re: surround sound connection to two channel system

Probably no problem if you do what you say, making sure never two preamps driving the amp simultaneously. I can't do that on mine, as I must select which inputs are active (RCA/XLR).

A safer way to make the connection is to connect the AV pre outs to a regular RCA input on your pre. And choose a reference volume pot level (what I do). Or to the tape jacks on your pre. Volume pot level doesn't matter for that (I have tape, so can't do it).
