I'm thinking of getting for my nephew. Thinking of VTF-2 coupled with either Gallo micro satellites or Paradign Atoms and a DVPNS-500V. Have heard the Gallo micros and sub and was very impressed by the openess but found bass lacking.
Also wondering about a receiver and looking to come in under $1250 street for the whole system. I can get the DVP for $149 and the Gallo Micros or Atoms and VTF-2 for about $700 street if possible. Wondering about integration of sub with other speakers as I have no experience with a sub.
Ay input appreciated as I have little knowledge of the HT gear and it also, at least in this price range seems to change so quickly.
