Re: Can I make HT work in this room?

It's hard to exactly visualize, but you might need to think outside the box or try something that seems strange on paper. My first thought is flip-flopping the room and moving the desk by the fireplace. But, I'm assuming the one wall has a window and some sort of view that you feel makes the room. In that case, why not try the TV where the sofa is and put the sofa parallel to the fireplace, moving the chair to face the TV in front of the window or off to the side if you must.

With delays and volume calibration, you can make crazy things sort of work, but it's far easier if it fits into a box. I'm sure you know that though.
