My new plasma screen

I have just been given a 50" Samsung plasma HDTV screen and am wondering if I can even put it to use. You see...I have a rather esoteric horn speaker set-up in close proximity that has some rather powerful magnets used in the compression drivers (obviously unshielded). Is this type of screen susceptible to the same magnetic distortion as witnessed with my CRT? As I am blissfully ignorant to the inner workings of plasma screens...will I have any problems? Is it raffle time?
