If you have speakers that are not very efficient go with the B&K because the Mac puts 120 watts into 4 ohms. It all depends of your taste. I have the McIntosh 7205 with puts 200 watts into 4 ohms, about 100 watts into 8 ohms. I have B&W speakers not very efficient.
