What 34" Widescreen HDTV? -Help

After a lot of stress and walking around mall after mall, I have finally come down to 2 TV choices. The Toshiba 34HBX82 or the Pansonic CT34WX52. I am also confused on the difference between the 34HB81, 34HB82 and the 34NBX82?
Also looking at the Sony NS715P progressive scan DVD?
I would welcome your thoughts as I want to make a purchase before Xmas.
