Re: best deal on a 32in HDTV??

Samsung has a 30inch (16:9) HDTV monitor around $1k USD. Unforunately it doesn't have as many inputs as some of its competitors do. :-( Personally I'd try to get a 16:9 set, as 16:9 and HDTV seem to be the future. Although 4:3 sets (SDTV and HDTV) are less expensive, and more tempting.

Last time I shopped (summer 2002) it seemed that Sony, JVC and Toshiba had higher pricing, and Philips and Panasonic were generally a little lower. But YMMV.
