Workaround for a player that doesn't like SVCDs.

Hello,

Over Christmas, I decided to put some of our DV tapes on VCD. I can make VCDs just fine with Pinnacle and Nero that play back on my Pioneer DVD player, but with Pinnacle, I can't make SVCDs that will play properly. Two thirds of the screen show an enlongated image and the last third shows a repeat of the first third. When, however, I make SVCDs with software from MAGIX, they play fine. The problem is that the Pinnacle software is that much easier to work with. In addition, Pinnacle cannot be bothered to answer my support requests. (I have a licensed copy.) Jeff
Is there a way to get Pinnacle to output a SVCD that will play properly on an Pioneer player?
