Hello All,

I have an 1100 lumen 1024X768 data projector. If I watch a dvd with this projector at native resolution (484X480) about half the pixels are not used. Does this reduce the effective brightness (as measured in lumens) by about half? OR does it remain an 1100 lumen projector because each used pixel is just as bright as when used normally?
