Hello my friends: After several months of saving/dreaming/comparing brands models and prices, listening your suggestions and reading a lot, I got the Panasonic CT36HX42, it is a high-definition, tube, direct TV, I am very satisfied with it; now I am in the market for a good DVD player, do you think with $ 400.00 I can get a good one? At Sound & Vision I see the Panasonic DVD-XP50, with progressive scan output and DVD-Audio playback, would that be a good option? and also: does it have something to be the fact that I would have Panasonic DVD player with a Panasonic TV ? or is it the same with any other similar brand/model from a different company, let us say Sony, Phillips, etc.? thanks in advance for your insights, suggestions/warnings, best regards, Antonio Machado.
