convert PC LCD monitor to video monitor

Any body can advise as to how to convert PC LCD monitor to receive video output from DVD player direct? what is the circuitry require...?? the price different between an LCD TV and the LCD PC monitor is just too great and I dont think they justify the different....! Appreciate your kind advise!
