Line conditioning and surge suppression for RPTV

Next week I will have my new Pioneer PRO730HD delivered, and would like a few suggestions on line conditioning and surge suppression options to install between outlet and RPTV.

I have already installed a dedicated 120volt/15amp circuit / outlet from my A/V subpanel to the unit .

Read some earlier posts on this and other forums on using an UPS or Brickwall unit, my budget is $200-300. I live in a large suburban area of the southeastern USA, so storms and other power problems occur frequently.

Any ideas on units specific for the 730 (i.e. wattage ratings, etc)?
