Here's the response from theta's tech guy:"The future of the Casa Nova will include a component video board, a DTS,
Dolby Digital,Pro Logoc ll, and Circle Surround ll board, a 6.1 or 8.1
analog output board, an external analog six channel switcher for sacd and
dvd a audio players, a new operating software. The digital input board for
a new standard has not been settled on because there is no standard set
yet. The dsd issue is up in the air still, since a dsd 2 format is being
developed. The Casa Nova will see these features next year. We are behind
due to the new operating system being developed for the Casablanca which in
turn will be put into the Casa Nova. The operating system had to be
replaced due to it's age. Windows 98 is going to be with out support soon.
The push for the new DTS es and Dolby Digital ex systems seems to be much
to do about doing. Sorry but with only one to two discs released monthly
this is not the huge support we were looking for. How many times can you
watch Harry Potter or Gladiator a month to hear these new formats. We are
slow, but due to what has happened the last month to other firms in the
industry we will be around long term.Sincerely,
