Sony DVP-S7000... Is it worth keeping?

Hi All:
I inherited a Sony DVP-S7000 (not hooked up yet)[No, it does not have the MacroVision defeat switches]. I also own a Sony DVP-NS700P (that has progressive output & DTS [currently in use]). I will be receiving the Bravo D-1 DVD player with the digital connector (as I also have a Sony KF-50 XBR900 (LCD projection HDTV capable TV with the DVI input).

I have not hooked up the S-7000 yet. Is the output from the S-7000 better than the progressive output I now receive from the 700? Does the 7000 do anything great (like CD output or SACD )?

In other words, should I keep the S-7000 for some function?
