Need help adjusting antenna Amplifier

I have an antenna amplifier model is Tru-Spec TA-36, which has worked perfectly for 5 years. I had a TV die on me and to make a long story short - I started adjusting the atenna amplifer and cannot get it back to where the pciture is clear.

Does anyone here know the secret to adjusting this amplifer? I have tried looking at the picture while turning the gain screws, but I cannot get it as sharp as it was before.

It has 2 gain adjusting screws for VHF - Lo and Hi - also 2 FM trap switches - In and Out (don't know what these are for, but I do have 5 receivers and tuners throughout my house that are hooked up to this amplifier). Also has a gain screw for UHF.

The amp also has a -20db test point for a coax cable (not sure what this is for also)

This amp came with my house and I do not have any instructions for it.
