So if one was to use the devices listed below for cable, along with a cable tuner in a VCR, he would only get one channel at a time, depending on what the VCR tuner was set. He would then have to some sort of wired or wireless remote control extender system to change channels on the vcr at the location of his secondary TV, unless the said devices also had that included. Correct?

I agree with you on pulling a cable, once one gets the terminating ends right, which is quite easy, it's a breeze to install a whole house distribution system.
