I had an old Sony once... that had intermittent problems on warm up...

It turned out to be a "cold solder" joint. I say that in quotes because the TV worked well for many many years and after about 23+ years it started acting up. After a bunch of de/re soldering, the TV was as good as old... before the intermittent problem.

Ypu may have a component that is failing due to heat. Once it heats up...

One warning... there are lethal voltages inside TVs. If you don't know what you are doing, don't open the case! Take it to a professional.

Now.. if you do know what you are doing, have you opened up the case, cleaned out the dirt, done a visual inspection?
