JVC AV-27FA44 vs. Toshiba 27AF43?? HELP!

I need help. I am about to buy a new 27" tv for my bedroom this weekend and i've having a tough time deciding. I initially was leaning towards the sony kvfs100 but i read about the many problems it has. Now I have come down to two televisions...they are the Toshiba 27AF43 and the JVC 27FA44. Not only am I looking for good video quality, but i'm also looking for excellent audio as well. Both seem to have the same features but the JVC has more powerful speakers at 7.5 watts per channel as opposed to toshiba's 5 watts. The JVC actually seems better on paper. Anyway, I can't really find any sites to get user opinions of these models which makes it difficult for me. I went down to my local sears and got a chance to see the tv's in person. What turned me off a bit for the toshiba is that it doesn't have a menu button on the set..so i wasn't able to test the set's audio quality. I also wanted to see how deep the menu features were. I got a chance to test out the jvc's audio and it sounds amazing.. I could actually feel the bass. In any event, the sales rep at sears told me to get the toshiba because they are better quality. I also keep reading about how amazing the video quality is on the Toshiba 27AF42 (older model)..but i can't find any useful info on the AF43. What do you think i should do? Right now i'm leaning towards the jvc.
