CEDIA Boot Camp

I just spent three days at a CEDIA Boot Camp and recommend it highly to all of you interested in Home Theater design and installation. I thought I had some knowledge in this area, but soon learned that I didn't know jack. I have high hopes of going to work in this industry, but I was a little intimidated, I must admit. Pulling wire is not the issue, system synergy is. The problem for the independant guys is the danger of installing an obsolete system due to project planning issues. You might have bought the system for your client in the design phase six months to a year prior to installation, and you guys know how fast equipment designs change. I think the trick is to find a manufacturer who has built in upgradeability (sp). I may just go to work for a retail outfit first to get the hang of the trade. Anybody in the biz?
