Front Projector for everyday viewing?

Does anyone here currently use a FP for regular TV viewing? I have an RPTV at the moment which has served long and well, but is nearing the end of its use and I would like to move to an Infocus X1 with an electric screen.

Is this a viable setup for my TV viewing? I usually watch about tree hours a night when I get home from work....at a TV station...yeah...I know...but what can I say...I love TV.
