I am not familiar with the set you mention nor to be truthful have I SEEN the one I mentioned. It's just that I have never seen such a rave review for any product in TPV. IMHO TPV is the best of the video magazines. I think the only way to compare is to see both side by side at a Sony dealer.

Whatevr you do purchase, make sure to have the set calibrated right away by an ISF technician, both for optimal picture and for long life.
