Been checking with a retailer, a manufacturer, cable company, a broadcaster and consumer advocate. No one will accept responsibility for the logos. I have yet to hear back from the broadcaster for their logo display. All manufacturers will tell you that if you watch any channel that permanently displays a logo, the warrantee becomes null and void. Isn't that a nice howdy-do! I suggested to all of them that it would be the same as watching a Warner Bros. or 20th Century Fox logo in a movie theatre throughout the entire film. I am sure theatre goers would protest from end of the country to the other. How come we HDTV owners are so quiet?
