Which of these two Denons is the better buy?

Hi all,
I can purchase either a Denon 2900 DVD player for $1200 (Canadian) or a Denon 2910 for $825 (Canadian). My two-year old Toshiba RPTV has a DVI input, but I don't know if that's an advantage. In your expert view, which of these two Denons is the better buy?
