The S125C is rated at 4 ohms according to the M&K website. If your receiver is rated only to 8 ohms (which as far as I can find on the HK website, it is) then this is probably your problem. You could do any of a number of things:
-Get a more robust receiver
-Get a separate mono amp if the receiver has preouts (I didn't check while I was there)
-Get a center rated at 8 ohms
-Zero formers may work also (no affiliation nor do I really know much about them, but they may be your cheapest fix)
