Good match for Marantz receiver?

Hi, I would like to have some advice on which speakers is of good match for Marantz receiver (SR-685/580)?
My budget is around $500-700 for two mains, my preference is soft rock, and my source is a Panasonic DVD player. I will use this system 50/50 in movie and music.
Is B&W 602 OK for it? Any advice will be highly appreciated! Thanks.
