an answer to last weeks question: saw Galaxy Quest today. Had a ball, this is a sheer delight for a trekkie; prob a few of the unenlightened would enjoy it as well. So, yes, i enjoy going to the movies if it's a halfway decent flick.
as to picture quality, i find that question a bit surprising, but thats definitely my age showing. My family's first tv had about a 8 or 10 inch screen. My friend's 53" sony xbr with the built in line doubler is just great. And the sheer quality of that 36" Wega on a high def feed, wow.
anyway, i have been waiting for a review, or a few choice comments about the pre/pro you acquired recently. From a money standpoint, i am almost locked into the B+K family because i can always upgrade for about a
grand off current list price. But your new toy, and that sexy new Parasound
look to have better engineering. Particularly like the automatic room eq, combined with the fact that analog stays analog in the Parasound.
