I've had several dealings with the President- Tom Young. He has never been anything but honest and a great businessman to work with. I purchased a Sony 1252Q front projector and my screen from him.If you think about the PC marketplace, he's following the same business model- reject the channel in favor of going direct. It's made a killing for Dell. Even Compaq is moving closer to that model.
Yes I know audio equipment isn't like computers, but as HT gains footing in the minds of the masses, golden eared audiophiles like us will be surpassed by the review reading, best price seeking, feature hungry joes.
Tom has the opportunity to be at the forefront of a retailing revolution in home theater.
