Good lord I hope not

204.171.31.148

Boy I hope that this is not the future of the revolution in home theater. However, please don't misinterpret.
I don't question Tom Young's honesty nor am I questioning the quality of Outlaw equipment as I haven't been able to listen or even see any of their stuff. However, NOTHING can beat an in-home trial of ANY component. Let us not forget that a system is not a single entity but rather is a sum of many parts. The "best" amp in the world may very well sound absolutely horrible in the wrong system. System matching is critical, and Outlaw negates the buyer's ability to listen before buying.
Maybe Outlaw makes a great amp. Maybe not. My point is that I truly hope that the future of audio is not degraded to the point where people will put together a system without hearing any of the components.
Long live the "golden eared audiophile."
