If they are anything like a "factory sealed" Japanese music LD (concert of Jesse Norman - NHK VOOK) I received the other week then they will be plastered with Japanese hieroglyphics (had to look up the spelling of that one!!) and have the most visual noise I ever encountered on a LD. Most frustrating as the musical content was excellent but it was unwatchable. I'll play it as a CD!!
