I have a Samsung TXJ-2766 27" TV. I am trying to "refresh" or "reset" everything on my TV because I am having picture problems (areas of green color in two corners of the picture). A week ago I removed my non-shielded speakers from my home theater system and the green spots are still there. I understand that magnetic fields shouldn't cause permanent damage. I have heard that service center technicians use special "codes" (from the remote control?) to access special menus for diagnostics and simple "repair". Anyone know anything about this? There is no info about this on their website nor in the user's manual. Will unplugging the unit help? For how long?
