B&K Ref 20 Pre/Pro

I am looking to find the right Home theater pre/pro and amps to pair with my new JM Lab Electra speakers. The pre/pro will be used 80% of the time for music and 20% for home theater in a room approximately 24'X16' with a 22' high vaulted ceiling. I have been looking closely at the B&K Ref 20 and Ref 7250 amp. I am also trying to get more information on the newly announced Ref 30.
I have also looked at Parasound, NAD and Classe products. On the high end I have auditioned the Proceed and Krell.
I would appreciate feedback on the B&K products compared to the others and whether the extra cost for the Krell and Proceed delivers enough extra performance to justify the price difference.

Also any suggestions on a musical sub to add to the system would be appreciated. Thanks.
