Recommend for HT (requirements follow) thanks for any constructive feedback

Will be my second mini HT system so I cannot spend too much nor do I need full capability. In a gym actually.
So, important considerations are
1) Single Remote so that one can control devices from treadmill or stairclimber (therefore is same brand receiver and DVD player an easier answer?)
2) DTS and DD in receiver.
Please recommend
1) Receiver
2) DVD plus CD player all in one (with dual readers or just a simple but very good quality DVD)
Please consider as given:
TV old TV will be used so it does not have modern connection capability - TV volume is dying or practically dead after being abused so that it can be heard above the din of treadmill.
B&W DM602 S2 as front speakers (already purchased)
B&W ASW 1000 as subwoofer (already purchased)
B&W DM601 S2 as surround (to be purchased)
