It really is amazing how bad the factory defaults are on most TV's. Once you set up your system using Avia ( excellent, very in-depth ) or Video Essentials ( very good, but more basic ), you would never go back to not having the system calibrated this way. Pictures are so much sharper with better detail and contrast. Your Vega is capable of an excellent picture and color definition if properly adjusted. Sean
