Depending on the cash flow you can buy a decent home theater amp and use the 2ch stereo mode when you listen to musicit's not blow your roof off performance however it will do the job for the average listener

1 Paradigm PDR-12 Active subFor the average person who is 50% music and 50% movies (this is me) a system like this is fine. however for a person who's a little more into performance then you might want to consider different options.
