Hola Zap. Do you have a digital receiver or processor? Are you considering to buy one? These are important question you has to answer before buying a new DVD player. DVD's came with and without digital processing. If your receiver is digital ready you need the DVD with internal processor. It cost more and the processing is not as good of the digital receivers. If the receiver has the processor you need a regular DVD , which cost less.

For the price that you pay these days, you could buy the Pioneer 525 , it is upgradable with the use of an external DAC ( the DVD acts as a transport). It has a digital output that pass a 24/96 signal.

The Toshiba is a good video player and are fairly good audio players too. I have one SD-2108 for two years now and am very pleased with it.

Plan your buy for the future, consult with the sales people and contrast opinions from store to store.

Goog luck, if need more help e-mail me.
