Some places do pull scams like that. Some "very picky" manufacturers will actually pull their product lines from a store if they are "manipulating" brands to look better than others. I don't blame them. What most people don't realize about video products is that they typically look best and last longer with the brightness control turned WAY down.The place that i bought my big-screen from returns all of the sets to factory default settings at the beginning of the day. How they end up by the end of the day may be another story though. Sean
