Direct TV or Dish Network for DD5.1 broadcasting?

I plan to purchase a Direct TV or Dish Network satellite system with a DD capable receiver. Which sat. system offers the most in DD5.1 movies? Also, is the DD5.1 sound quality identicle to that of DVD? Has anyone ever tried an A/B comparison test?
