Everything I've seen about setting up a home theater suggests a light to medium-light shade of flat grey for wall colors. You can add color to this and get a green-grey or a blue-grey, brown-grey, etc., but they all suggest a neutral grey as a base.Check out http://www.hometheatermag.com. If you aren't a subscriber I'd recommend it if you like home theater. They have a lot of articles that lean towards real home theaters. They tend to do a good mix of reviews too, both expensive and inexpensive.
